They work and I love the concept. Used in a 1995 car that never dreamed of this idea. BUT ATTENTION! As others have said, this is not plug-n-play, not even close (unless used as a replacement for a previously installed dart). No? Then you may need manual skills. The wires are short, an additional wire is required, which can lead to problems when laying a bulky connection. Extremely thin wire (24 gauge or less), very difficult to add extension cords or plugs. After all they are brittle, if not very careful the wire can break or snap out of the arrow (I've had that happen but I was able to reattach it). Recommendations; Reinforcement where the wire enters the arrow to prevent accidents. Get a wire stripper for very thin wire. (Mine didn't work as the wire was thin and delicate). Be extremely careful when removing any protective material needed to install the boom as even tiny scratches will be visible when this is done. (No reflection in scratched areas).
