When it comes to bedroom furniture, size matters
Edited product image. Your mattress should be 5 inches thick and no thicker if you want the "headboard" to be visible. My mattress is a thick pillow. I spent over $100 on a metal box spring because you can't even see it! Instead, I would just go with the cheap $50. BUT I gave it 3 stars because it was easy to assemble and if you had a very thin mattress it would be fine and the height off the floor suits my mattress to comfortably do multiple 'activities'. I still say get another one if you're after looks.
