I originally bought a different brand synthetic accord to do a macrame project but didn't like the look or the quality so went I went back to the drawing board to find a natural chord and stumbled across this guy. I ordered 3mm and received it quickly. The diameter was a bit smaller than I expected, but it's great for a plant hanger or small wall hanging (or large if you're really patient!). See photos for scale. Using a spool of 3mm cord I was able to make a small wall hanging and hanging planter. It didn't tangle as easily and was much more comfortable to work with than the synthetic accord I had previously purchased. I accidentally dropped a few accords in my red wine while working and it looks like it's staining just fine - I can actually go back and just stain it with wine :) I was very happy with this accord and ordered two more 3mm and two 4mm for my next projects!
