Review on NEVO RHINO Backpack Expandable Climbing by April Bee

Very well made, strong nylon, strong zippers, light weight. It's a great size for serious hiking, both as a daypack (with extra room in the zip) and as a short overnight backpack (fully open). Spacious main compartment, not divided into too many additional pockets. What drew me to this particular pack were the trekking pole/ice ax loops on the bottom, complete with small bungee straps to hold them to the side of the pack, a feature rarely found on packs that don't specially made for mountain hiking. They work great at full size (first two photos). But not so much in a smaller configuration (last two photos). Their placement and the way the bottom folds makes a standard 60cm ice ax too tall. Sad to have to go back. Exceptional quality for the price. Folded height is about 21 inches.
