Review on UBeesize Aluminum Lightweight Compatible Android by Justin Steele

Incredibly light and compact yet fully functional phone tripod.

In my work, I often take a tripod to shoot stand up videos and b-roll at the conventions I attend, so I am comfortable with these types of tripods and theirs very familiar Used. We've made a quantum leap in usability, going from even small DSLR/camcorders with full tripods to using our cell phones and smaller tripods. But this tripod is surprisingly light and compact. When I took the box and opened it, I was afraid it might break because it's so light. It definitely weighs less than 2 pounds, closer to 1. When I actually touched it, I noticed that the legs and supports were aluminum, although parts like the leg supports and rotating hardware are plastic. The tripod has a standard threaded mount, so not only is this tripod suitable for cell phones (and some of the mount is made of thicker plastic and metal), but it comes with a drawstring carrying case and an expandable threaded cell phone mount (and can be used and in my other tripods). The tripod legs wobbled when extended but were very secure when I snapped them into place. The height from the floor to the threaded mount was 51 inches, allowing the phone to climb a bit higher. Pan and tilt are based on friction, but still work well. There were notches on the vertical slope of the bracket. All in all, this is my new tripod mount for the future. Even the 4-pound mount feels like a giant anchor as you walk through the Vegas convention center. This tripod is so light and small enough that it fits in my huge backpack/bag. It's perfect? no I would like the leg rests to be metal and the rest of the system to be thicker plastic, but then it would be bulkier and heavier and not fit for purpose. If you need a smaller tripod that is exactly the same as the full-size tripod, you may be disappointed. But I think most people will appreciate the size and weight of this tripod, and the fact that it can do 90% of what a full-size tripod can do makes it a must-have tool for me.
