Review on πŸ“Έ Anker USB-C SD 4.0 Card Reader: PowerExpand+ 2-in-1 Memory Card Reader by Kevin Barbon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Card reader as flexible as USB-C cable

On my desk I have a Lenovo Mini PC in the cable drawer underneath. I already had an Anker USB-C card reader, but the mini PC has a USB-C data port on the front, so the Anker USB-C card reader with cable makes opening the drawer much easier. Slightly and carefully bend the wire so that the SD card slot and micro SC slot face me vertically, allowing you to quickly swap and remove cards in the drive without first disassembling the reader. To illustrate why this is such an advantage in this setup, try mentally swapping the micro SD card on a horizontal flash drive at the same time as the SD card in the reader - and with the USB-A port on too the front of the Mini PC at arm's length down and to the right. If you can make this swap without having to disassemble the card reader first, surely you should be doing something profitable with that level of dexterity instead of what you're doing now! My only issue is that Anker is a bit picky about how and when to do it. read from the micro SD card slot. I would only deduct half a star from my rating (= 9 out of 10) but if I had to choose between 4 and 5 it's 4. But I still love this piece a lot.
