Review on πŸ“ Hopkins Never Fade 08526 Dual Graduated Level by Ryan Reiter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is my second set

And the first set stayed crisp and never faded. And that at a large number of campsites in the desert in direct sunlight. The only reason I'm replacing them is because I accidentally painted the front when I was repainting the front of the trailer frame. And with a special anti-corrosion paint (POR 15), if it hits something, it just comes out with a spoked disc or knife; which destroys the level. But I have reordered the same item. However, if you are camping in a hot climate, after a previous setup with similar levels, it is best to use propellers. Although the tape remains glued to the plane and trailer, it rotates easily on the tape in hot weather, causing inaccuracy. I found this with almost identical levels that I had used before that were not fade resistant. So the ones I'm replacing were bolted on, and these new ones will be bolted on too.

Pros
  • Unlike traditional layers that fade due to UV exposure, this one does not fade over time
Cons
  • There are issues
