I have a soundbar with 300+ subs so I decided to add surround speakers to the kit. Quality is as expected, assembly with floor stands is easy. upset. According to many buyers here, the voice from the speakers was very, very low, almost no difference. Started to think it was another $418 we wasted. BUT I have chosen to believe and trust the brand (it's Bose, it couldn't be worse) just like you trust when you buy a Mercedes. Been looking here and there and found a solution (unfortunately not here), and I'm sharing it with you as a New Year's gift (if you decide to buy me a beer, I agree :)). New surround speakers - Install the Bose mobile app on your phones. There are few of them. "Bose Connect" and "Bose Music" will not work with a 300 soundbar, they will work with a 500/700. For the Soundbar 300 model you need the Bose SoundTouch app. It works by connecting your phone/app to the soundbar via your home wifi. To prepare the soundbar for connection, press the SoundTouch button on the remote, then press and hold 9. Open the app and follow the instructions. It will also check for updates (I didn't even know this sound system could get updates so I did it for the first time in 2 years since I bought it. The update took a while, around 15 minutes). When connected, find "Sound Settings" in the application in settings. There you can set the center level and the surround level, the last one bothers you, set it to 10 :) Test your sound right away. Merry Christmas and a Happy and Loud New Year 2020 :)
