I rarely go to the salon to get my nails done as I prefer to save money and do it myself and this UV LED lamp makes my nail care so much easier . I don't like regular nail polish because it either smudges the day I paint it or chips off the next day. However, using this lightweight and companion nail polish means I have a polish that stays on my nails for AT LEAST 7-10 days and in most cases longer. I have found that when applying nail polish after applying a base coat of clear coat the color of the nail polish stays MUCH longer if I apply one coat of color versus two. I usually apply two coats for the light browns I have, but I have found that after 2-3 days they chip and even peel off if I apply two coats. So I recommend sticking with one coat of paint and it will last a long time. The light works great. I actually got it as a gift and accidentally dropped it and it broke, but I liked it so much I bought a second one! Overall, I highly recommend that painting your nails will be a breeze once you get the hang of it. I no longer have to worry about not touching anything for an hour after coloring my nails because thanks to this they are fully cured under the light in 30 seconds!
