I really want to give five stars but there are a few things that get in the way. First, the lack of a shuffle function is quite annoying - when I have several hundred songs on a card or USB stick, I don't necessarily want to hear them in the same order. Second, I really wish there was a headphone jack - if I want to listen to music and my wife doesn't, I have to unplug and use something else that allows me to use headphones. The third issue isn't that big, but it's important to me - the minimum volume is a bit higher than we'd like. The volume buttons gradually change the volume, and the last one before the silence is a little louder than we would like, especially late at night or early in the morning. For example, too loud to fall asleep. I only mention these things when someone trying to make a decision finds them important. Overall, though, I really like the device - it's easy to use, sounds great, and the battery life seems pretty good. It's really close to being great.
