Excellent food quality. Purr packaging service.

My cats really happy with this food I’d suggest they are healthy enough! But my concern is a package! The parcels being packaged again and again wrong. I never seen correct packaging, and most of the time I receiving damaged cans. Sometimes more, sometimes less. This time only small bump but still coz a either fridge storaging or garbage. Sometimes damages so bad , so I have to garbage most of the cans. How long last?

Pros
  • My cat eats this food exclusively
Cons
  • Some cats may not like the taste or texture

The price is not worth

I have a ragdoll and she loves royal cans. But I decide to change some other brand’s cans which is better than royal and the price is same. I think lots of cats loves royal cans but the royal has lots of meat by products. Meat by products means the meat is not dry meat. It’s meat powder which has some chemical stuff inside. Also, royal has lots of carbohydrates which can increase cat’s weight. Fat is not a healthy style. The most important thing is that royal has the same price as other no…

Pros
  • My cat liked it but I think it made her itchy.
Cons
  • The portion size may not be enough for larger cats

Cats LOVE it; helps reduce hairballs, getting PRICEY tho

Our Maine Coons & picky little rescue cat love Royal Canin canned food and it's noticeably beneficial for decreasing hairball activity & improving elimination. RC is definitely a good quality product that they actually eat: we tried many gluten-free, meat-only expensive organic products that they wouldn't touch. As far as I can figure out the gluten additives don't cause any problems and I suspect they may help our cats with elimination as they're not digested (much like feral cats pass…

Pros
  • Food
Cons
  • The packaging may be difficult to open for some pet owners

Cats LOVE the taste - but seems a little pricey for what you get

First the good news: My cats (all 7 of them) absolutely love this food. 2 of our most finicky will eat almost nothing else, but they gobble this down. Clearly this is a good-tasting food. Now the bad news: Seems very expensive for what you get. A look at the ingredient list reveals by-products and several grain fillers such as wheat gluten that you don't usually find in a so-called "premium" food. Not sure why exactly it is so expensive. They also do not even make this available in a 5.5 or 6 oz

Pros
  • B0169J5IKW
Cons
  • The food may spoil quickly if not refrigerated properly

we just transitioned the kittens from kitten instinctive to adult instinctive and they LOVE it - NOW who knows why they love it? I have actually tried to get them off Royal Canin - yes I have - and on to other better foods - like Blue, Natural Choice, Newmans, and others - but they wont eat them. But this food they like, a lot. I look at the ingredients - and it doesn't seem like its the greatest list - but. they love it - and there is nothing left at the end so no waste for me! Believe me…

Pros
  • Perfectly portioned to avoid food waste
Cons
  • The food may not be suitable for cats with food sensitivities or allergies

My cat wouldn't eat it at first

My cat wouldn't eat this food at first, but he loves the Royal Canin dry food. Now he's starting to eat it. He had to get used to it I guess.

Pros
  • Mix with Royal Canin Feline Health Nutrition dry formulas for a perfectly balanced combination of nutrition
Cons
  • The food may not be suitable for cats with dental problems

The best available for picky eaters.

My Maine Coon and Blue Russian rescues have been eating the Royal Canin "Thin Slices In Gravy" for over 3 years. This product has been the best of the best available for picky eaters. My girls eat this type Royal Canin as if it were their treats. They like three flavors, 1) Intense Beauty, 2) Adult Instinctive & 3) Spayed Neutered. It keeps them happy, beautiful and healthy! Buy single cans from the pet store to try it, then order it at Walmart. It's a little better price + free shipping when…

Pros
  • A precisely balanced blend of vitamins and minerals to maintain optimal cat health and wellness
Cons
  • The food may contain harmful preservatives

This is not cheap food, you guys sell what is supposed to be a premium cat food and it has never reflected in your ingredients. If my cat had not refused to eat much other than this I would never buy it. He was given it before he came to live with me so I was stuck with it but I do not consider pork byproduct as the first ingredient to be a premium food at all.So, I ordered this case of food because we were nearly out and imagine my surprise when I heard liquid sloshing around in the first can…

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • The food may not provide enough protein for active or growing cats

Very Happy with Product!

I am very pleased with the product and distributer, they go the food to us in record speed! I switched over to the Royal Canin pouches because I was having difficulty getting the Science Diet ones we usually feed our young gal. She is one pleased puss!

Pros
  • Satisfies even the pickiest eaters with an instinctively preferred ratio of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates
Cons
  • The gravy may leave stains or marks on carpets or furniture

Excellent for picky cats of any age!

Both of my cats love this flavor! My older cat is 13+ yrs old, and my younger cat is 3+ yrs old. I usually feed them 4 or 5 times a day, and switch up the flavors during each feeding, but I use 1 can of this and split it between the both of them. They also eat other brands of dry kibble and treats throughout the day, but this is one of their fav wet foods. I would recommend this for picky cats, both of mine love this stuff!

Pros
  • Royal Canin Adult Instinctive Thin Slices in Gravy is soft cat food for cats 1-7 years old
Cons
  • The food may not be filling or satisfying for some cats

Only wet food my girl will eat!

It’s been difficult finding this product in stores. Walmart has been reliable. This is the only wet food my cat will eat. I’ve tried so many others but this is it!

Pros
  • Has a satisfying flavor that cats love
Cons
  • The food may contain too much salt or other unhealthy additives

Great cat food in my review

My cats love this food. As it is very difficult to find in retail stores, I am so glad pleased that I can buy through Walmart.Very well packed and fast shipping.Thank you.

Pros
  • 2.6 x 5.25 x 5.21 inches; 3 Ounces
Cons
  • Some cats may experience digestive upset or diarrhea

COST HAS DOUBLED! best in my review

this food was recommended by the breeder for my cat. BUT IT HAS DOUBLED IN PRICE SO I WILL BE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER BAND OF CAT FOOD

Pros
  • Can help keep your cat feeling full and satisfied between meals
Cons
  • The gravy may attract ants, flies, or other insects

Cans dented for my opinion

The box of food was opened inside the Walmart envelope. 5 cans out of 12 are dented, which is not safe to give to my cat, since the dented cans can cause poisoning. Very unhappy with this purchase

Pros
  • Provides a balanced and delicious meal for even the most discerning cats
Cons
  • The food may cause vomiting or other adverse reactions

Really gives a Shiny Coat

Started purchasing for my 20yr old cat. I think it was the only food (that I purchased) that she could smell so she had no problems eating it. I would have gotten the one for elderly cats but I also had 2 kittens to contend with. So I settled with this one as a compromise. They all loved it - but the smell can be horrid for humans. My older cat died so I started purchasing a cheaper-box store brand for the other 2. BIG Mistake. After a month of the cheap food, it's very evident that Royal Canin…

Pros
  • Gluten-free and grain-free for cats with food sensitivities
Cons
  • The food may be over-processed or contain artificial fillers

Let's put it this way.

. if our cats like it, we like it. Higher priced that competitors, but our cats are Royal Canin lovers. Do not offer them any other brand names. They also enjoy the dry cat food. Also, we believe these products are much healthier for the cats than most of whatever is available in the grocery or big box stores. Maybe we've bought into the manufacturer's claims, but one of our cats lived to 23 yrs old; another to 17 yrs old. All three we have now are energetic with gorgeous glossy coats.

Pros
  • Can help improve skin and coat health
Cons
  • The food may not be suitable for cats with diabetes or other health issues

Getting More Expensive every few months

I have two Savannah Cats that love this stuff. I've tried a dozen other wet foods to supplement their dry food and this is the only wet they really enjoy. Despite the subscription it is hard to come by even from Chewy and the price keeps going up.

Pros
  • Specifically formulated to meet the needs of adult cats
Cons
  • The food may have a short shelf life

Used to buy but way to expensive. Blue buffalo tastefulls

I’ve been using this brand for years but I had to switch because price got to expensive.I finally found an excellent replacement. Blue buffalo tastefulls wet cat food. Cost Three times the cost of Royal canine.

Pros
  • Our cat has eaten this brand for two years now and comes running when he hears it being opened!
Cons
  • It's expensive compared to other brands of wet cat food

Am I really supposed to give some stars to the flavor ?

This brand is supposed to be really good for cats, but mine do not seem to care for it at all. It actually cracked me up as I was writing the review where you have to give stars to the flavor. I myself can’t answer that LOL but I can tell you that my cats don’t really like the food sadly.

Pros
  • Offers complete and balanced nutrition for overall wellness
Cons
  • The food may contain too many carbohydrates for some cats

New taste is bad and cats hate it

This used to be our cats favourite for 6 years but recently they seem to have changed the recipe or whatever (the specific sample i got could be bad too) and my cats are puking after eating this and refusing to eat .Tried from 2 retailers with same result.

Pros
  • Thin slices in gravy texture to please even the pickiest eaters
Cons
  • The food may not be suitable for cats with urinary tract problems
