High Quality Dog Food.

The quality of this dog food is top notch with lots of mackeral. It smells great and my dog really loves it. It seems a little too rich for her digestive system, though. (She's thirteen.) Because she's getting picky and really likes this food, I still give it to her and mix it with another food that's a little blander. That's working out great for us. I would highly recommend this brand of dog food.

Pros
  • I've tried everything only this and 1 other brand will my dog eat itself expensive but quality dog food
Cons
  • Contains carrageenan, a controversial food additive

A quality canned dog food!

All three of my dogs love this flavor of Weruva Dog Food. I did extensive research on the company and the manufacturing plant Thailand. This is human grade food manufactured under more stringent regulations than in the U S A. It does not look nor smell like your typical canned dog food. There is no carrageenan or guar gum used as thickeners. I have tried five flavors and my dogs have liked all of them. I prefer the flavors that have the picture of the contents on the can. The other flavors are…

Pros
  • My picky eater really likes this dog food. We’ve tried soooo many others. This is her preference
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other wet dog food brands

My picky creature loves it

I have a greyhound who loves his canned food but has a sensitive gut. He loves this one and it doesn’t seem to both his lower GI very much.

Pros
  • 12.5 x 9 x 4.5 inches; 14 Ounces
Cons
  • Possible risk of contamination due to manufacturing process

Well, Weruva had the magic formula in the past. Their Marbella Paella was at THE very top of our pets' list of favorite foods and they eat about 10-12 different brands/flavors of canned foods, all premium brands without grains and crap fillers. The old Marbella Paella recipe and the new both had mackerel as the primary ingredient and water as the second ingredient. The previous recipe, which is still what's incorrectly printed in Ebay's description as of this writing, contained calamari, shrimp

Pros
  • Packaged in convenient 14-ounce cans that are easy to store and serve
Cons
  • Some ingredients may not be of the highest quality

Expensive but worth it

My dogs love this food! Except the paella one… smell is intense. The food is like juman grade. Dogs will eat till the last bite!

Pros
  • Quality ingredients you can see! Weruva uses grass-fed lamb & beef and small-sustainably sourced fish - all hand-packed into each can for your dog to enjoy!
Cons
  • May not be a good option for dogs with dental problems

I bought this dog food on a recommendation from a friend. Her dog also had dark stains around the eyes and she noticed a considerable improvement! So have I on my pooch! Great flavors. A bit pricey, but thank God I have a small dog!

Pros
  • Contains a variety of delicious flavors to keep your dog happy and satisfied
Cons
  • Some dogs may experience tooth decay due to the high sugar content

To much fish - my new review

My it would be nice to have more variety that does not include so much fish. Some dogs, mine included, don't like fish and half the case is fish mixtures

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • Availability may vary depending on geographical location

Pros and Cons on my review.

Well, First things first. It says Made in Thailand on the case packaging when I got it out of the box. Which worries me. I usually feed Fromm Shredded Beef but couldn't find it direct on Ebay and the price at the time of purchase of these were about the same and offered on Ebay directly so I got these to compare. Plus, these were well rated online and by consumer's digest pet food edition and I read the ingredients so was pretty happy with this. I have to say , there's definitely less food…

Pros
  • 100% Complete & Balanced Diet for Adult Maintenance with added Vitamins, Minerals, & Antioxidants.
Cons
  • May be difficult to store for those with limited space

Not for EVERY dog.: my feedback

I read the reviews on this and was excited to order it to give some variety to my dogs diet. I began feeding them the food, mixed with their regular dry food, it to my German Shepherd Dog, Golden Retriever, and rescue pup. After about two days of eating it and for almost a week after, all three dogs experienced horrible diarrhea, made worse (for me) by the fact that all three are strictly inside dogs. I thought nothing could upset my rescue pup's stomach.but I was wrong. I know it's probably a…

My dog is very picky but when introduced to this food, he simply fell in love with it. High in nutrient, rich in protein, this food is best choice I have ever made for my dog.

Pros
  • Chicken-Free. Grain-free, Gluten-free, & Carrageenan-free. No corn, wheat or soy. Free from any artificial colors & preservatives.
Cons
  • Overpriced compared to other high-quality dog food brands

Yummy for my dog best in my review

My puppy loves this food. But unfortunately he is allergy to chicken. So he got really sick once we gave him the chicken flavor. Otherwise all other flavor works great for him.

Pros
  • My fog loves it! I trust this product!
Cons
  • Could potentially cause an allergic reaction in some dogs

Good Ingredients, But Pricey

Got this for a very finicky old dog (16 yrs old!). Ingredients are good and format is stew-like and looks pretty tasty. She liked all but one of the flavors, so mostly a hit. Unfortunately, the price makes this something we can't get on a regular basis, so looking for more affordable solutions.

Pros
  • Produced in Human Food Facilities under the Strictest B.R.C. Global Standards for Foods with real ingredients you can see in every recipe.
Cons
  • Need to be refrigerated after opening, which can be inconvenient

I have two small dogs with different issues. The first is a picky eater and would go days without eating.just turn his nose up and walk away. Now I have a different problem.he is very insistent for his meals. Wakes me up in the morning demanding to be fed, pushes his bowl around the house or stands in the hall and barks at me. I am not kidding or making this up. He seems to have more energy and be more alert. I don't care that it cost me $50 dollars for a flat. I probably threw that much money…

Pros
  • Food
Cons
  • Some dogs may have an aversion to canned food

Dogs love it good for me

Needed some high protein, low carb options for the dogs - one has cancer and needs low carb options. THis is one of them. They love the flavor - it's a hit with our mixed breed dogs.

Pros
  • Comes in a convenient 12-pack that ensures you always have enough food on hand for your furry friend
Cons
  • Not a complete diet and should be supplemented with other foods
