Little bites for my opinion

I really like the small size of this kibble . I would say the shape is a somewhat rounded square. The bites were extremely fresh as they are packaged in a very thick plastic dog food bag. The zipper on the top of the bag is larger in size so it is easy to seal. The food smells fresh upon opening. As far as dog food goes, it does not have an overly potent smell. It’s actually a quite clean dog food smell. It’s not oily and no residue is left on my hands after handling it. After my dog inspected…

Pros
  • Le encantan a mi perro
Cons
  • May not meet the dietary needs of all ages and sizes of Pomeranians

Dogs Love It best in my review

My rescues get a mix of available dog foods on a daily basis so I was happy to add Royal Canin to their diet. They absolutely adored it and seemed to pick through to get these morsels first. I have 2 different breed formulas so I am not reviewing specific breed results. My rescues are all mixed breeds anyway. I look for freshness, taste, and tolerance.Royal Canin fits the bill on all three. They love it so I happily recommend

Pros
  • They love it!
Cons
  • Not easily accessible in all pet stores

My Dog Loves It! good for me

I recently took over the care of a mature Pomeranian. I’ve had other dogs, but I’ve never had a Pomeranian, so I had no idea of any special needs she might have. I was so happy when I found a food that was made specifically for my little dog, and I was hoping that she wouldn’t have any adverse effects from eating it. I originally tried the Royal Canin canned food, which she loved and had no problems with, so I thought the dry kibble would most likely be fine. After working the dry kibble into…

Pros
  • Mu pumerranian is so happy about the food. She lives it and didn't want her old one anymore
Cons
  • My dog doesn’t think it’s tasty

I'm Not Real Pleased With This Dog Food

This 10 pound bag of dog food cost $42.00, as of this review. For $42.00 the first two ingredients are brewer's rice and corn followed by chicken by-product meal (feet, guts, and that sort of stuff). Then the vitamin E is a DL form and not D. DL is inferior and not healthy to consume. It also has a high fat content with the minimum amount being 14%. If you have an overweight dog this food will make it fatter. I think they are really cutting corners here. I am being generous giving this dog food

Pros
  • My dog love it!
Cons
  • Only comes in a small 2.5lb bag

This has CORN! No corn 4 my dog

I'm really disappointed that this has cornmeal in it or any corn at all as we know all or most of the Corn is genetically modified and I don't know about dogs eating corn meal at all dogs don't eat corn. I am no longer going to feed this to my dog

Pros
  • This is very good stuff. Ingredients are great and my dogs absolutely love this.
Cons
  • Contains animal by-products, which some pet owners try to avoid

Not the best ingredients

Sure the dogs will eat it and it does have some good ingredients. However, look at the first three on the list of ingredients: brewers rice, corn, and chicken by-product meal. The chicken by-product meal has been characterized as floor sweepings on some web sites. I prefer dog food, which uses real meat as its first ingredient. I think that there are much better dog foods.

Pros
  • Delivers a balanced blend of digestible fibers and highly digestible protein to promote digestive health and optimal stool quality
Cons
  • May not be suitable for dogs that are picky eaters

Must have a good flavor

The way my dog eats this leads me to believe that the flavor is good. The pieces are small enough to be manageable for a small dog. Even though I store the food in a different container when it arrives, it is a plus that the bag is resealable.I love knowing that my dog is getting the right nutrition for his breed.

Pros
  • great dog food
Cons
  • Contains artificial preservatives

Scaled for petite dogs, but others like it too

This dry dog food is supposed to be canine specific. My two Mini Schnauzers are not Pomeranians.but, you know what, they love this new dry "kibble"! Today I introduced this in their dinner, along with their other quality kibble and wet dog food. The gobbled it down! When I introduce a new food, it is offered by itself first to get their reaction. These little square "dots" of chicken flavor were immediately eaten by our girl, the boy was hesitant but then tried them.success! I said chicken, but

Pros
  • Provides a smaller kibble shape and size to support the Pomeranian’s smaller jaw while helping to reduce tartar formation, by encouraging the dog to chew
Cons
  • May not help control tartar buildup or bad breath in dogs

Too expensive and takes too long to deliver

My Pomeranian is a very picky eater and he actually would eat this if I add a little extra to it to make it appealing to his picky palate. The only problem I have with this is it is never in stock and takes so long to get it. Plus the price is outrageous for a small bag. Only giving it 3 stars due to the price and never available plus it takes weeks for delivery.

Pros
  • Royal Canin
Cons
  • Lacks variety in flavor and texture

Great even for other breeds

We have a 6 month old golden doodle with a very thick coat. I wanted to try this because it was recommended by reviewers and came in a large bag. Our dog, though he is a large breed, has very thick hair similar to Pomeranians. He LOVES this food. We had to start putting it in his slow feeder because he was scarfing it down so fast. The quality is excellent and obviously the flavor is too. Our dog is a tad picky too so it must be good. His hair has been noticeably shinier and easier to brush as…

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • Contains corn, which can cause gastrointestinal issues in some dogs

Great quality in my review

I like the breed specific food. I love Royal Canin and the quality of their products, it is worth the price. Not suitable for dogs with allergies.

  • My Pom loves this food.
Cons
  • Not suitable for dogs with allergies

Starting to love this brand

My fluffy girl loved this food, the size, the smell, it kept her fur so fluffy and full of life. Really happy with the ingredients and the formula, this brand is doing us good.

Pros
  • Product is exactly as described. Fast shipping and great quality. Would do business again.
Cons
  • Does not have a high protein content compared to other dog foods

Recommended by breeder and Veterinarian

Breeder recommended it for our Pomeranian when a puppy and continued to use throughout adulthood. Veterinarian said it was also good for our Pomeranian.

Pros
  • March 18, 2020
Cons
  • Packaging is not environmentally friendly

We like it. good for me

My dog is a Terrier Mix but I decided to try this for the small kibble. I am very glad that I did. The ingredient list is impressive and my dog thinks it tastes great. The best part for me is that when I opened the bag the kibble smelled good and my dog has not had any digestive issues during and after switching to this kibble.

Pros
  • Doggie likes it.
Cons
  • My dog had diarrhea, and I gave him this dog food before, probably not fresh, had to return it.

Royal Canin Breed Health

This is a top shelf dog food that is breed specific and in the case of small dogs, helps with the joints and bones. Knees are very important in the Pomeranian breed and they need extra support for those little bones. The dogs like the food. It doesn't rank up with the nutritional value as other brands, but the fur babies seem to like it.

Pros
  • Supports this small breed dog’s fragile knees, joints, and overall bone health
Cons
  • Some pet owners find the bag difficult to reseal after opening

Outstanding Dog Food

There is so much to love about this dog food. Lets start with premium ingredients. I also love that this bag closes to keep any unwanted "critters" out of the bag. Most importantly is my dogs love this food!

Pros
  • Good product
Cons
  • May not provide enough nutrition for active Pomaranians

Good quality food good for me

I have 2 small dogs, a yorkie and a Chiweenie.I’m always looking to find new small pellets for my dogs. They used to eat the yorkie adult one, but they were a little hard on my chiweenie because we had to pull her teeth out (we adopted her and she came with very bad teeth). So we change the food to the chihuahua pellets, they are smaller. They work perfect. But we wanted to try a new one and theses Pomeranian ones are great too. They are maybe the same size as the chihuahua but they are rounded

Pros

Cons
  • Some dogs may experience diarrhea when switching to this dog food

Puppy love it in my review

I changed to this dog food for my Pomeranian who is one year old. I worry he need some time to adjust this new food. Actually he love it. Now he even doesn’t like eat his old food.

Pros
  • Food

  • Does not come in different kibble sizes for different age groups of Pomeranians
