I am renovating some outdated lights on my 2000 sailboat. The style of these lights is great and the light gives a nice warm white light as opposed to the more bluish 'daylight'. I prefer warm white and find it relaxing. The acrylic bracket diffuses the light and looks attractive. The on/off switch is touch sensitive, not mechanical. Touch once and a blue ring around the button will light up. This is a nice feature for a dark boat. It gives some light and helps you navigate when moving around at night. Touch it again and a warm white light will illuminate. The dimming function works perfectly, a few test touches are enough to find the right setting. Don't expect it to dim like a lightbulb while dimming. It dims and brightens, but don't expect total darkness. LEDs don't work that way. I'm very happy with everything just the blue ring and the warm white and blue ring settings. I am satisfied with the processing quality. I can't judge USB yet.
