I would rate it 4.5 stars. I am a natural almost black brunette. I went platinum and my hairstylist suggested it. I use it instead of my regular conditioner. I would honestly say my hair was like straw, but I think it was the extreme color treatment. My hair felt much worse when I used any conditioner or hair mask other than this one. After a year I went back to my normal color with some highlights. I still use it. Not once was my hair coppered, as often happened with highlights in the past. Overall I think this product has saved my hair as much as I would expect. I have thick but fine hair and it doesn't weigh it down.
