The first charger worked fine for my Pixel 2 XL and was registered as a fast charger. However, once I stepped on the cord and the charger stopped working. But I chalked it up to my own fault when I stepped on the wire. Based on the first experience, I decided that the second charger has the same quality in terms of charging, and maybe I just need to be gentler and more careful. And I was terribly wrong. Worst of all, none of the chargers are non-returnable, even though the second charger is only 10 days old and destroyed my Pixel 2 XL's battery. The second charger was never registered as a fast charge and while charging my phone the battery drains so quickly, 45 minutes. Screen time consumes 45% of your battery. Background: Not downloading new apps, I keep my phone bright, I frequently clear app caches and save data. I keep my phone on data saver mode and turn off background apps I don't need. I broke down and paid $35.99 on the google store for the official charger. I don't let my battery go below 10% and I usually turn it off at 98% but have tried to get to 100% with no result. The bottom line is that I do everything I can and more than the average person to avoid battery drain and this 2 No D charger killed my phone. Do not take any risks. Use the official Google charger.
