With any chair you purchase, you must first sit down to ensure it meets your comfort requirements. Of course that's not possible, so order a chair, pick it up and sit in it. This chair wasn't cheap. I bought it because it's a Lazy Boy brand. Lazy Boy products have always been quality products that stand the test of time. So I ordered this chair, assembled it and tested it. I've had it for two days now and sit in it 6-8 hours a day. First impression: quality chair, leather feels thick but supple. The processing is good. The stitching is well finished and looks solid. Assembly was easy, instructions helpful. when setting. Remarks: This chair is not a high back chair. The chair can be tilted backwards by about 30 degrees. The armrests and the base are made of real wood. Although it is a bonded leather, it has a higher quality and feel (durability). Why 4 stars: I'm not 100% convinced of comfort chairs. After sitting in it for several hours, my back and neck started to hurt. Also, the edge of the seat is heavily padded so there is some pressure on the back of the legs. In general, I know that furniture needs a break, like everything new. So only time will tell. I hope it breaks in a few months. The chair he replaced was also purchased from Revain (not Lazy Boy). She served for 5 years and at first it was not very comfortable, but after a few months she broke down, got used to it and was fine. I will not be returning this chair. This is a beautiful chair, well constructed and working properly. UPDATE May 31, 2017: The chair starts to wobble at the base when locked. I tried to see if some of the screws are loose but there are no screws. Just a big needle to spin on. Something's bending, and I'm afraid it's getting worse. Reduce my rating by one star. But added one star for comfort. UPDATE: After 2 years the chair broke and is leaning to one side. I weigh 190 pounds. This is unacceptable and I would not recommend this chair. In addition, bonded leather begins to crack and peel after 3 years. It's sad that a lazy boy is putting his name on this product!
