I like to buy the series

They are too narrow. The shorts are 5/64" wide and the longest 1/8" but they're still strong enough for most purposes. The nice thing is that one range covers all needs at home and in the garage. You need a donor. For the plastic bags they came in, I cut the ribbon off the end and wrapped the other end in a rubber band to keep them from falling out. Now you can easily pull out one by one.
