Works as described. I connected it to a Bluetooth receiver with an optical output. I have a Revain Echo that connects via Bluetooth from 20 feet away. The trigger turns on the amplifier (which is powered by the Bluetooth receiver) when sound comes from the Echo, e.g. B. when Alexa answers a question or plays music.
