This window film is very easy to apply. After measuring and cutting the film, simply spray water on a clean window, place the film on the glass and smooth out any bubbles. The window film comes with a sharp cutter and cloth, so you don't need to buy it separately. Before I bought window film, I had aluminum shutters on the windows overlooking the neighbor's cluttered backyard, so I never opened the shutters to avoid looking at them. Closed blinds made the room dull and dark. Window films let in lots of light and blur everything out. Problem solved!
