I love Docs. They hold up fantastic, they're cute, versatile and in this case, feminine. Once cracked, they're handy. My kid loves her Docs and this is her third pair I think. They used to be black. They are damn strong and can withstand the abuse from my 4 year old, 5 year old, 6 year old and now 7 year old girl who loves jumping in wet and muddy puddles, crushing her shoes with her heels and such further. abuse them to hell. Docs stands up to this kid like no other brand. As for matching - I know how documents match now that I'm used to it. They're a little bigger than you think, but I knew that. I wear size 4 UK (€37, probably US 6 for women, 5 for men according to the shoes). Size 37 fits, size 5 fits but I can't wear US 6 so don't know. I just know what suits my child. My suggestion would be to try them on first and see if they fit, but if that's not possible, maybe go half a size smaller than expected - or go up a size to get better. :-)
