As another reviewer said, the material of the shirt is closer to what you would expect from athletic wear, while in the picture it looks more like cotton/cloth. So it's the shiny cycling apparel material. Nonetheless, it fits well and is comfortable, I'm just not sure I would wear it casually, which is a shame because it's nicely styled and classy looking. I just don't know how I feel when I wear sportswear in everyday situations.
