I have ordered two of these showcases. I keep one with the magnetic side taped to the ironing board, and when sewing on the machine I use the base for pins. And I keep one next to the car on its magnetic base to keep it safe. So I can take my glasses off in the car and leave them there while I go to the ironing board and wear one there. I always take my glasses off and put them somewhere and have trouble finding them! No longer! The soft, fluffy interior protects the glasses from scratches, while the open top allows you to quickly pick up and use the glasses or put them back in when not in use. Not suitable for travel (for me) - glasses are not protected on the open end.
