Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Sunglass Replacement Lenses & Sock Kit By BlazerBuck Review

Great so far. Now my only worry is that with to much rubbing of the lens due to finger prints or smudges, my previous pair started to peel off. These are my first pair from this company, I’m being extra careful with them but so far great lens. Oh and the extra accessories was really nice, unexpected sun glass soft pouch and extra rubber pieces for my glasses, 👍🏼👍🏼 for that. Thank you.

I had debated whether or not to buy true Oakley replacement lenses for awhile. After I considered that buying new Oakley lenses would essentially be purchasing 75% of a new pair anyway, I figured it was time to try something cheap. I ordered a set of the black polarized lenses and socks for my Flak XLJs yesterday. Recieved them today and immediately installed them. The first thing I noticed was that the front socks don't fit snugly. They have a little wiggle room. the back socks fit really well. Putting on the nose pads they felt easier to put on but at the same time more secure than Oakley nose Pads. Now onto the lenses. These lenses are made out of inferior plastic and the locking tip on the edge of the lenses fails after about a month of use and the lenses fall out of the frames after that. This is the second pair of lenses from this seller that have failed in the same way on two different sets of frames I have had for many years. Save your money. These lenses are junk.

I went with this combination since I need replacement nose pads and the price was right for what else came with them. I/m pretty sure the yellow lenses are not polarized since they don't give the same checkered rainbow image on my car windows like my actual polarized Oakley lenses do. They work fine for shooting lenses, not so much for sun glasses though. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and the fast shipment.

I was having difficulty getting the lenses in perfectly, so my husband offered to try. He snapped the glasses in half, trying to get the inner part of the lens inserted. Not sure if the glasses are just old and weak (6 yrs old) but now I have to buy a new pair, which is what I was trying to avoid doing by buying these lenses.

For the money they are perfect. Darken quickly and lighten up quickly. I work inside and out without taking them off. No they are not noticeably dark in the sun. They do block the glare from the sun for me though. I will purchase again. Wish they made then for wiley x.

These lenses are polarized, come with replacement rubber, and are a great deal for the money. However, the edge is sharp and I cut my thumb pretty bad pushing the lens into place. Wear gloves when you install.

One of the lenses Cracked while installing on frame. I submitted a review stating such. I didn’t request a refund or replacement but the seller reached out to me and sent a replacement within a few days.

Fit of lens and rubber parts was perfect. Lens quality is worth the money. Time will tell how durable these are but so far no scratches

These worked great for not only sight but protection. During work today I had a piece of metal fly toward my face straining my lenses at a high speed, there is a mark, but no crack. Definitely will be buying again.

Great polarized lenses. Liked them enough to keep the whole package. But had to use some other replacement socks to get the root beer color I was looking for.

I love the way these lenses fit in my frame. Easy to replace. The polarization is really good. I have been using it to walk an run, and sweat has pour down on them and the quality remains perfect. Great product.

I bought these lenses based on the reviews. I didn't put them in my frames for a few months after I bought them due to my old lenses lasting a little longer than I thought. After about 90 days installed, much less wearing them as we live in the midwest, the coating just started to speckle and peel off (see picture). Transition effect was extremely slow. Much slower than any I’ve used in the past. Also, unless you’re staring into the sun, you’ll never get close to the max light blocking power it claims.I wanted to use these for range glasses, but due to very light sensitive eyes, the amount of light it still let in was a no-go. Couldn’t justify keeping them when comparing the actual product to the claims.

I lost my Oakley XLJ Flak Jackets and found them in the gravel road a week later.The frames snapped back together and were in good enough shape to salvage for a spare/yard work glasses. The rubber and lenses were toast so I ordered these and they fit perfect and looked really good!The ear socks and nose pieces were really comfortable and the lenses provided good protection.Well, I dropped them in the road again and ran them over so I will try to buy just the lenses, if not I'll reorder as these

These lenses are awesome! I like the clarity the look and they were easy to install and fit perfect on my Oakley’s. And for the price, its a steal! I’m picky about lenses and drive a lot in the Texas sun, the polarized lenses cuts the glare and I can see the road great. That’s a bonus safety feature for me. I’m glad I purchased these from BlazerBuck. Definitely ordering more in other colors.
