I ordered a set of the black polarized lenses and socks for my Flak XLJs yesterday. Recieved them today and immediately installed them. The first thing I noticed was that the front socks don't fit snugly. They have a little wiggle room. the back socks fit really well. Putting on the nose pads they felt easier to put on but at the same time more secure than Oakley nose Pads. Now onto the lenses. They definitely aren't heavily polarized. you can put both lenses perpendicular to each other with one over the other and it only dims it doesn't black out but it does dim which is good. if there was no change there would be no polarization. Once i fitted them to the from i was disappointed to find out that they didn't fit tightly into the frames. They wont fall out or anything but with Oakley lenses they seem to put a pressure on the frames and help stiffen them. these allow the frame to wiggle. The clarity of the lenses seems pretty good to me and i haven't noticed any distortion in my viewing range.Overall given the cost of these compared to the cost of Oakley lenses and socks these are good and will do the job Still the small disappointment of the loose fittings though. . Will update the review as needed if other issues become apparent.
