Review on Advanced Copper Electronic Descaler and Water Conditioner by Anthony Heinrichs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Installed June 16, 2020 Only time will tell

I first saw a unit at wholesale C that cost about $350 so I started researching. After some research, I found other devices that claimed to use the same technology and were built with fancy finishes and expensive connectors. I found this one with 2 circuits for less than $35. I added a few other items to mount outdoors on the main plumbing coming out of the ground - the meter is about 30 feet outdoors - underground. I wrapped the tubes tightly, making sure both coils were in the same direction, but not so tight that it damaged the wires (these are cheap aluminum wires. You may need to switch to copper wire later). For outdoor mounting, I purchased the following items separately: Creative-Idea 30 Pcs Waterproof Nylon Cable Gland IP68 Wire Protector M8 M10 M12 M16 M18 M20 Black Zulkit Mix Bundle ABS Plastic Junction Box Dustproof Waterproof Electrical Boxes IP65 Hinged Case Open Universal Project Enclosure Gray Transparent/Transparent Lid Lockable 5.9 x 3.9 x 2.8 in (150 x 100 x 70 mm) I drilled/drilled holes in the junction box, used a few other junction box covers and components (had to do some work with MacGyver to fit it in the box to attach) and fastened it in the box. - connected to a 12V 1.5A 50/60Hz power supply (the one that came with it was 2A but the cord was too short!) I read that you come with a 9V adapter Power can be supplied, but I have not checked it. As you can see in the photo, there is electricity! The LEDs are not removable as some descriptions state, but oh well! All in all I spent $35 on the unit, $10 on the cable glands, $16 on the junction box (plus tax) and about 2 hours of my time plus some other hardware I had in the garage. 25% discount on some brand devices! I'll post an update in a few months once I get a chance to see some device results. (June 16, 2020) Dec 8, 2020 - Noticed easier removal of gray dust from stainless steel parts and it doesn't seem to 'crust' as hard (less binding) Seems to do what is advertised!

Pros
  • Make water softer and more comfortable on skin and hair, and increase the efficiency of your water heater without ever using salt or incurring costly maintenance costs for salt-based water conditioners.
Cons
  • No power
