Works in downlights as the sensor is in the bulb, not on the side

After spending a lot of money on twilight bulbs that don't work in my downlight, I finally found these bulbs, that work. I was not aware of the different arrangement of the light sensors in lamps with photocells. The ones I bought first have little knobs with tabs on the side of the lamp base. This detects the presence/absence of light and turns the bulb on or off. It was only after some research that I found out that only certain types of bulbs would work in recessed lights. These lamp designs have a light sensor. embed in the base of the bulb, not on the sides. It's fairly easy to tell the difference just by looking at the bulb, but I ordered them based on their specific description that they would work in recessed lighting. They work great. Try to fail yourself and waste $, and get them if you have built-ins or concealed lights.
