I followed the instructions to assemble the light which turned out to be fairly easy. The installation went smoothly. First I put in 60 watt white Edison bulbs and they were too bright. After replacing them with 40 watt gold Edison bulbs everything looks perfect. The only downside was that the old traditional chandelier didn't emphasize imperfections in the ceiling finish like this chandelier did. I had to re-spackle and paint the ceiling, but it was worth it. This light is nice and close to the ceiling and illuminates the area nicely.
