This little gem is well worth the price!

I've used about a dozen gimbal stabilizers over the years. Most of them are fairly effective at reducing camera shake to the point where stabilization is there. The best I've ever used is the DJI Ronin S, but it's a beast and traveling with it is a huge pain. My goal for the last 5 years has been to find something as efficient as the Ronin S but much easier to control. The Hohem 3 in 1 Stabilizer really does meet many requirements and shines in comparison to many competitors. .Notes-- First of all. This is very effective for reducing camera shake when shooting movies. Again, it's almost a given, but it's important to note that it gets the job done. If it doesn't stabilize well, nothing else matters. Secondly. It's crazy light. I love it. I can mount my Sony ZV1 and the whole setup weighs about the same as a Go-Pro on a Karma joystick. You can shoot for 16 hours and not even feel it (good luck with that Ronin S.) - Hohem comes with a connection cable to connect directly to the Sony ZV1. Basically it works fantastic. I'm not a big fan of having to double-tap the record button to record a video (wish it was a separate button), but it's a pretty minor issue. - Balance when tuning - not very good. but many others are worse. The thumbscrew for tightening is in an awkward spot, making it difficult to tighten without unbalancing the camera. Honestly, this is the worst criticism I have for the Hohem stabilizer. - Excellent price. This full-featured gimbal costs about the same as a Sony tripod. If you buy Hohem you will never use the Sony tripod grip again. The battery life seems to be excellent. I shot for over an hour without much battery drain (my Sony ZV1 battery was dead and this unit seemed to be at 75%). - Not sure what is the maximum camera size you can use, but it works fine with SG1. A full screen is of course out of the question. along with many other MFTs that are out there (like the GH5). Final Verdict is a great option for vloggers and people who use small cameras for video.
