The new bumper case on my Android phone was interfering with the fit of the headset/headphone so I needed a thin plug adapter. Works great for listening to multimedia. Regarding phone calls, I found that on my iPhone 6 I could not answer the call correctly using the button on the headset (Koss PortaProX). Instead of the caller's voice, I hear a repeating strange tone. Works perfectly on my Android phone. The bottom line is I can't leave this adapter on the headset all the time, I have to remove it when I connect to the iPhone.
