I am very upset and the product is no good.

When utilized for face-to-face Skype calls, the Logitech C920 appears to function effectively as a webcam. Connection with a subscriber 700 kilometers away from me was satisfactory, and the distant subscriber appreciated the picture, the movements were quite fluid, and there was no twitching. 70 to 90 cm separated me from the camera. That is, when it is worked at the typical distance from a 21.5-inch monitor. Only for this purpose are the camera's design, focus, and depth of field tuned. Inconveniently, everyone will no longer be in focus if someone has a display with a much greater diagonal or if there is a need to converse with a large group of people and you have to sit farther away from the camera to view everyone. Personally, I don't prefer a sharp picture thus close (3cm to 80cm). Between 20 cm to 250 cm away from the lens, I am much more in need of a sharp image. After that, it would be possible to use the camera to take pictures and videos at home. Three or five of us could also relax in front of the camera and use Skype normally. However, taking images and movies is now entirely meaningless due to the depth of field's current qualities and the blurring at the edges of the image. Communicators are better shooters. Conclusion: Even for Skype, the camera's intended usage is too limited, the close-up image quality is unimpressive, and the claimed ability to take images and videos is a lie. Instead of $100, the red pricing for this camera is $20.

Pros
  • 1. H264 codec support lessens the strain on the communication channel. Fastening that is convenient. 3. Appearance is good. 4. Windows 7's installation and configuration went without incident (32). 5. The camera is not horizontally rotating in relation to its mounting. This is a benefit to me, but it might be a drawback to someone else.
Cons
  • Electric focus, first. narrow depth of field If the focus is set to "infinity," a reasonably sharp image will be located between 25 and 80 centimeters from the lens. When the focus is set to "macro," the sharpest image is around 3 cm away from the lens. A sharp image will be within 10–11 cm of the lens if the focus is adjusted to the middle of the range (5 out of 10). 2. There is significant edge blurring in the image. Moreover, the center appears to be blurry.
