Review on 🛏️ Pinzon 2-Pack Standard Plaid Flannel Cotton Pillowcases - 160-Gram, Red/Grey Plaid - Amazon Brand by Ashley Farrington

I've been buying and using Pinzon heavy flannel sheets for over ten years and I really like them so I decided to try them on to compare. While I don't know the cost of this set, I can't speak to the cost comparison. They arrived in the typical heavy plastic box in a nice box in the shipping carton. It would be easy to wrap the first gift box. Yarn-dyed flannel sheets have a nice check, perhaps a little masculine for some, and feel soft straight out of the bag. I washed them according to the instructions and they are not wrinkled. My lint dryer screen was full but it was even worse with new towels so I wasn't surprised. My mattress is about 11 inches high and leaves a lot of sheet space. I love that it has an elastic band that fits snugly and stays in place. The bed sheet is longer but the sides just cover both sides of our queen size mattress. If it had been larger I don't think the sides would have closed all the way to the spring block. If there is shrinkage over time I see a potential problem but for now this is acceptable. I slept on them last night and they are very soft and cozy. Compared to the heavy set I can say that they are a little lighter and less durable, the weave is a little less dense. Some may prefer if they are heavier. Time will tell if they wear as good or like pills but so far I love them! I will update this review over time. First impression without knowing the cost, four stars. 12-1-16 - Just a quick touch up after a few washes and enjoying them longer. I haven't had any shrinkage or pilling and they are still warm. I think I like her more now and I'm upgrading her to a star. The price seems reasonable for the quality and I also like the variety of colors. A few more weeks and washing and I'm noticing the colors are fading a bit. No shrinkage or pilling was observed.
