I love this rug :) My daughter loves it. She is 3 years old. Keep your feet on the ground. Don't slip, I have wooden floors. Very light but perfect for the little ones to play with. Very happy with this product.

This is the perfect thickness, strong enough to walk on but thin enough to fold. My 3 year old loves lying on the floor. The roads and trails are a bit sideways, so he doesn't play with it much.

Carpet is very thin and printed on felt. I expect it will subside soon after the game. Big and I love that it has both train tracks and roads. So my son loves it when cars stop at the RXR junction to wait for trains. It is bordered which makes it beautiful. I wouldn't recommend it for carpets, non slip seems made for hard floors.

This mat meets all my needs. It's very big, bright and colorful, full of streets for cars and tracks for trains. The most important thing for me is that it folds up nicely for storage! It's lightweight and made of felt material, so don't think it's a rug that has to be on the floor all the time. This is a play mat that needs to be used and then folded and stored away when not in use. For the money I got exactly what I wanted! Hope that helps!

We bought this rug to fit our space and it certainly fits, but it is not a rug. It's almost like a very thin carpet. After a few weeks of use in our preschool (small program, 20 children in total) the mat started to wear out and "wrinkle". I'm upset because I LOVE the bright colors and the fact that there are both roads and trains. That being said, if it were used in a home where kids wouldn't wear shoes and would get as much use out of it as they do here, that would probably be great.
