a bit skeptical. I took mine up the rocky peaks in a hot tipi in a tent for 3 nights, it definitely got wet in the snow and humidity no problem! Firewood for the stove, the high setting of the lantern gives an amazing amount of light. Well, best of all, his flashlight amazed me at how far he throws the torch beam. Now we are in the tipi tent while the snow is cooking dinner at night, back late at low level and giving off a lot of light. At bedtime and throughout the night, we leave on a soft red light to look inside the tent to keep the fire fueled all night. This little amazing light completed various tasks from 6pm to 6am like a champion with over 60% energy remaining. The next morning was clear and sunny, I pulled out my little foldable solar panel to charge and charge, two hours and it was done. This amazing little light did this for 3 nights 12 hours a day at 9000 feet. What a little animal. Thank goodness I didn't get stuck on the way home BUT! If I did, I would have my LeLED flashlight with a red flash mode for warning and emergency. This light is beautiful. I'm not the type to leave reviews, but this light deserves it.
