Okay I need this for headphones/charging because I'm on my device and use it to get some power (I only use it in some cases because it is convenient for me, but I avoid it because I'm concerned about the function). I received the product and it comes in a resealable bag (just throw it away). It reminded me of those cheap candies you buy at the corner store. (I tell you this because first impressions of products largely reflect how the product will work and look, and THIS is the best case for that). The adapter has two connectors for the lighting and both connectors are fragile - after about 15 uses of the product. The sensors inside have just stopped detecting the headphones/charger - the cable itself seems stiffer than a circuit board and the end plug does NOT insert comfortably into the device. I've seen some people have issues with a product that didn't work (it's true because it's not an official Apple product, but this one worked) not in the way I wanted it to, but in such a patchy way. The cost pretty much reflects what you are buying here and this is a single use adapter that can be used for about a week and is showing signs of deterioration such as (cheap plastic case and parts to make it) Just save time and money - avoid it.
