The thing is so beautiful. It's very soft and the perfect height for my mattress. It was easy to assemble. All you have to do is screw two posts to the headboard and voila! It's also excellent value for money. I looked at another headboard of the same shape but made of solid wood, with ornaments and carvings around the perimeter. However, I didn't have a thousand dollars to spend on it, so I searched Revain for something similar and came across this one. Compared to the first one I reviewed, this one was practically stolen and I don't feel like the fabric is any worse or cheaper. However, it is not the longest-lived in the world. When I pressed the bed frame against the wall after attaching the headboard to the bed frame, I had to make sure the thin wooden posts didn't twist and bend onto the carpet because I'm pretty sure they would break if I did suddenly pushed the whole thing back against the wall. Also, I have a metal bed frame (the one that the mattress sits on without the spring) and with the headboard attached, my mattress now sags about an inch. and a half from the edge of the bed. I could easily fix this by adjusting the height of the headboard, but then my mattress slides under the headboard, and while it's been a while since I've had a headboard, I'm pretty sure the mattress should be resting on it . not underneath... This may be due to using different headboard attachments than those supplied with my bed frame, a design flaw in the bed frame, or a design flaw in the headboard. I'm not sure, so I wrote all three for other people to consider. Finally, the label for cancer and reproductive harm is a little daunting. I asked in the Questions section which chemicals this article would require this warning for, but have not received an answer.
