Due to the recent pandemic, our kindergartener switched to distance learning. Every day she has 8-12 tasks to do in the Seesaw app. We had one of those soft pens at home that she used first and it was TERRIBLE. We then bought a $30 stylus from Target that had one of those clear discs on the tip, which wasn't great (I wouldn't recommend it), and it broke after a few weeks anyway. The only good thing about this pen was that it doesn't need to be charged. but it's not really a selling point for us. I bought this pen (pink!) and we are very happy with it. It's easy for our 5-year-old to hold and write, very responsive, and gets the job done without spending over $100 on an Apple Pencil. I like that it turns itself off after a few minutes of inactivity as this is common when a five year old is using it. I've found the accuracy to drop a bit when writing (as I've read in reviews), but it's not enough to really notice if you're just drawing something with it. I'm sure people who work in more detail will notice this more than me. Overall, I highly recommend this pen, especially for kids who use an iPad or other device a lot.
