I have a bench grinder on a stand. There was a slight vibration when accelerating. It wasn't bad, just about 2 seconds of vibration. Since I'm just standing there waiting for it to get up to speed, it's no big deal to just put my foot on it. However, when it's over. The speed that causes vibration lasts about 10-15 seconds. It sucks. I'm done with the instrument and just standing there to keep my foot on it. Yes, I could mount a bench grinder on a workbench, but what about larger items? Reason to be on the stand. I could screw the stand to the garage floor. But now I can never move it if I have to. I used the three largest bulges on the bottom. The built-in washer makes installation easy and very stable. Now when I turn the bench grinder on or off. It is NOT vibration. Not at all. I wish I had used these years ago. Such a simple solution and I've lived with vibration for so long. Why?
