I bought this because I have a brain condition that causes extreme sensitivity to light. For this purpose they are perfect! Little did I know they have padding on the inside edge of the frame around the eyes that completely blocks all ambient light. This is a great and terrible feature. That's great because it blocks outside light, but terrible because if you get hot outside, your face will sweat around the lens. How much you like them depends entirely on this one fact. If you don't mind the discomfort of occasional sweating around the lens, then they're great.
