Supportive, waterproof and bulky.
These shoes made me feel like I was wearing men's/clown shoes. The toe box is wider than most shoes. The photos show how much larger this shoe is compared to Keen, New Balance and Merrell shoes in a given size. They came higher on my ankle so were uncomfortable unless I was wearing ankle socks instead of a low neckline. They were comfortable, waterproof and very supportive so I wore them on a trip to Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland. They were a good alternative to my hiking shoes for Iceland but too bulky for Scandinavia. By the end of the trip I was very fed up with them. Update: Since my New Balance shoes have finally worn out, I wear them for daily walks at home. Once again supportive but bulky.
