Review on 55" TV Samsung QE55Q77AAU 2021 QLED, HDR, black by Ninad Shinde

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

The image is simply TOP. Irushki in 4K so generally fly away. By the way, Samsung is friends with PS4 pro without any problems. Samsung even has a special HDMI for the set-top box (hdmi is normal, just the TV software adds additional functions for Sound / video settings / interaction with the set-top box). The sound is normal. Sounds better when the TV is closer to the wall. Subjectively, not enough, I want to add a soundbar. Airplay is just a thrill. You can simply transfer any video, music, photo to TV with one touch. Even if the TV is turned off, you can transfer content from your phone and the TV will turn on by itself. By the way, the on / off animation is beautiful, the sound fades smoothly and gradually increases. When enabled, it “remembers” the last viewed channel or application (if you watched a video on YouTube, it will turn it on). Samsung remotes have always been able to do. No ugly rubber buttons. Thin narrow remote control with a minimum of buttons. Very convenient volume buttons (rocker button). I was amazed that the remote is friends with the TV set-top box from RT. The only thing missing from the Samsung remote is the buttons to switch to the previous channel / application / video. Well, you just want to rip out the unnecessary buttons for calling wired applications. By the way, the remote control is solar-powered (but there is a usb-c port for charging). There is a MultiView mode, that is, you can simultaneously start watching a video from YouTube and some video channel. The same mode can organize PiP (picture in picture). It takes a long time to set up the TV when you turn it on for the first time, but everything is clear and done from the phone (SmartThings application), but it can also be done from the remote control. I really liked that the TV recognizes what exactly is connected to it. I recognized the set-top box and called it Rostelecom with the corresponding icon. The same goes for PS. Ambient Mode (disguised as wallpaper) - well, that's it. Somehow I didn't get it. The TV can be fully controlled from your phone. It is better to collect TV together. But I did it alone. The panel is not heavy, but it is difficult not to grab the screen when assembling

Pros
  • 4K and 120Hz! 90% of the time now 4K is played on TV. This is space. 4K videos from YouTube are now at the top. True, you can view them only from off applications, where everything is choked with advertising ( In the evenings I turn on the fireplace in 4K, immediately +100 to the comfort of the house. White is white, not yellow or blue. Friendliness to other devices - a smartphone, a TV set-top box, a game console, even with a digital piano found a common language. Appearance is decent - thin body, no protruding elements (some models on the market are also thin, but the thickness varies). The frames are the thinnest. Elegant steel leg. Beautiful minimalistic remote control with a minimum of buttons.
Cons
  • Useless call buttons for "wired" applications of domestic streaming underservices. In general, "hardwired" applications that cannot be removed are the fattest minus for everyone who is involved in this.
