I ordered them for delivery to my destination when I was visiting a relative. My toddler (2 years 2 months) really enjoyed it. He could easily identify the characters and enjoyed them in and out of the bath. If I were to only buy one set of alphabet toys, this would be it. I actually bought him 3 sets - the Melissa and Doug wooden set, another wooden set and a word building set, and Melissa and Doug. We have maps in the truck's console that we use to practice at traffic lights. Junior is crazy about letters and loves to point to letters on signs all over the place. For example, in a mechanical shop, he pointed to letters he could recognize. He yelled "UPS!" on the Autobahn yesterday as a truck drove by. (Fed-Ex distracted him for a moment.) There are many decorative items with letters in the hobby lobby, and he likes to name them, too. He gets a lot of attention from the people in the store when he does this and it really increases his desire. If you have a little letter lover, this is a theme winner.
