I have found that if I want to turn the burner down to a low flame I have to turn the control knob as if it is off and watch the flame until the desired heat range is reached. So there is a workaround for the problem, but you don't have to. Gas control valves should provide better control for lower cooking temperatures. All burners have the same problem as described. One year later. Just a follow up after using the hob for about a year. I do not regret the purchase. When I found out I could regulate the flame using the method above, it didn't really matter. This is good value for money. This is certainly better than cooking on an electric stove. I tried to order parts but got no response. Empava! By reading this, please enable the purchase of replacement parts for this product. I would like to have a full set of controls while they are available. Many Thanks.
