Some reviewers remarked that the plush cat and dog toys were cheap so I really expected to just throw them away once we got them. But personally I find them really cute. They're not dollar store/carnival quality junk like some people make them. They appear to be well finished (stitching, embroidery, etc.) and the fabric is nice. They just look like cute cartoon animals. . Nothing extraordinary, but definitely not junk. My four year old daughter loves them and she has tons of cool toys to play with in this set so that's saying something. The food and packaging are realistic and fun. This is definitely a great choice for a toddler/preschooler!
