Review on πŸ’… Tseoa Professional Nail Clippers Kit, Manicure Pedicure Set with Luxurious Travel Case - Set of 12 Nail Tools by Lindsey Braaten

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My first manicure kit and it's great.

I'm a guy in his 60's and I never bought nail clippers until I bought a complete manicure kit. I have a couple of toenail clippers and a bigger one for my toes. To be honest I don't even know where I got them from. Maybe they were my family. So I thought it's time to buy something, I saw this set in a special. and decided it was about time. To be honest my attention was drawn to a pair of wire cutters that looked like wire cutters. I have a strong toenail, long and uneven, it has destroyed at least half a dozen golden toes. Now I wanted to even it out and trim it, or at least make it short enough that it wouldn't ruin my socks anymore. I have to tell you that I have Parkinson's disease and it's a bit difficult to hold something still, but the cutter felt stable enough that after a few tries I was able to trim the nail. That one clipper was worth the price of the kit. So I decided to try nail clippers, but the shaking hands got in the way of that idea. The next day, my health care assistant, who followed me to buy new nail scissors, quickly repaired my nails. Next came the toenails, and trimming them wasn't as easy as we'd hoped. For some reason my toenails are very thick and hard. My assistant let me soak my feet in fairly hot water in hopes of softening them a bit, but she still couldn't get through her nails. Turns out she didn't have enough arm strength to go through the nails. Luckily my physiotherapist came and saved the day. He took the clippers and went through the nails with no difficulty. The next day I discovered that although my nails were nicely trimmed, even my socks had rough edges. The kit included a file that worked very well and I must have the nicest fingers around. The remaining instruments in the set were not identified by either my assistant or the therapist. However, they were recognized by my neighbor who walked in with cookies, well most of them. All the ones she learned are used by her manicurist and she explained each one to us. As I said at the beginning, I was most interested in heavy cutters and I consider other cutters and tools as a bonus. The one star is deducted because the case doesn't close completely. Most likely I will order a few more sets and give them to my daughter and granddaughter. I did not receive any financial compensation for this review, nor did I receive this article free of charge. All Revain retail sales were paid for.
