We bought this for our son's water feature at school. Works well because they can just toss him over their head while he waits to change etc. But they also let them sit on the lawn with him. So branches and "things" get stuck, and they get stuck, so I have to find a towel and get the stuff out, since it goes through the washer and dryer and it's still there. It's microfiber so it's soft but sticks easily and doesn't last as long as a regular towel. We don't expect it to last through the summer. In this respect it is a waste and we will not buy it again or recommend it. I ended up buying a regular beach towel (kids size) which looks much softer and will definitely last longer. And it turns out he loves it too!
