Good Butter Dish

This butter maker has a small spreader. The tool looks small, but serves its purpose. The bowl is deep so the oil doesn't touch the bottom of the lid. The wood finish is nice and looks great on the table. The seal works well and has a channel to vent air when closed. The previous butter dish I had had a rectangular glass pan with an inverted lid. The problem was that over time the oil spread and made a mess. This oiler does not have this problem. I will buy it again as a gift for family and friends.

Pros

LARGE SIZE: This butter dish is large enough to hold any brand of butter, regardless of butter shape or size. The reservoir is large and deep enough to hold two standard sized oil packs or even a large square of oil. This bowl is great for storing lots of oil so you don't have to refill the bowl as often.
