One of the best perks is the ability to plug in chunky adapters that are too big for extension cords. No problem with that. (Wall adapters only allow small cables, even my 6-slot cable, otherwise the adapters take up almost all of the multi-port space). and also. You can hide cords behind furniture to make your home look more tidy. With a pair of Y-splitters, I also use extension cords (same company, same thickness, quality, color) and can keep my tablet, cell phone, laptop and lamp chargers ready. everything is neatly tucked away so I just use the business end in the right machine. Sooo handy, better than a docking station (in my opinion). I am planning to buy two more splitters and two more extensions (gives me 4 plugs) next to my chair. You must connect this electric blanket when using laptop and TV! . Leaves one open to the vacuum cleaner. hehe
