Review on 📱 ZAGG Folio Case with Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad Air - Sleek & Stylish Black by Shane Sanchez

I have decided to return 2 cases due to recurring problems establishing/maintaining a Bluetooth connection, which also affects many browsers. We ordered these new keyboards to replace our original white ZAGG keyboards (despise the matte white ones - good grip but not compatible with newspaper ink etc), each held together with a pair of tension clips. As for this design weakness, it was too late by the time I finally realized I should have handled the iPad/keyboard assembly differently - by manipulating the heavier part of the screen instead of just holding half the keyboard. Sorry for the analogy, but it's like handling a newborn - you have to support your head! While reading reviews of a similar Belkin product, I found that one author mentioned that his Bluetooth issues are not related to Belkin but to iOS. Updates - I'm not sure about that. Because we love these black ZAGG keyboard cases, I sent them back an additional day to further investigate the issue. I found that the first time I logged in, I only had to wait about 10 seconds for the Bluetooth connection to activate - the same applies if I paused my activity but didn't log out. If the break has lasted several hours, I usually have to reset the Bluetooth connection. Otherwise, I've found the keyboard to respond instantly just by looking at the Bluetooth icon in the top-right corner of the screen. This adjustment requires some patience - if it creates too much stress, then I absolutely have to switch off. Keep these keyboards with your preferred key spacing and laptop feel - and of course, backlighting, which has been useful many times - and I'll treat them like a "newborn" so the hinged gussets will last a lifetime. Lifespan of our iPads. I try to remember to turn off the keyboard to save battery, as a low battery will prevent bluetooth connection.
