It's not bad, but there is a "problem" in the design and a problem with the 3VDC backup power input. To do this I cut the USB cable for the power supply and the section of wire is too small to hook onto the screw terminals. I know it's a bit finicky and soldering them directly to the board is NBD, but be prepared. For me the big problem is that I added a holder for two AAA batteries for long term backup, but without power the clock loses its settings, with or without this backup. Haven't fixed it yet because I'm pretty sure it's not what I did, but it was a disappointment. If I could get this to work I would add a plastic case as well. It serves my purpose and has good brightness, but it's not perfect.
